Passing this along from the Mayor and Sara Pasti - The City and the Red Cross have set up a warming center at Lewis Thompkins Hose at the West End of Main. There is a county shuttle running from there to the shelter at John Jay High School if you need a hot meal or a place to stay tonight. City of Beacon is under a State of Emergency. They are asking that people limit car travel as much as possible and do not park on the roads. Central Hudson is in the city right now and working to reconnect folks as fast as possible. If you need emergency assistance or know someone who does, call the Beacon Police directly.

PoJo is reporting Beacon's State of Emergency is being lifted at 5pm. Snow Emergency still in effect, so no cars on the streets tonight.
