- I teach sociology at Lehman College - CUNY in the Bronx. Here, I am a member of the Beacon Street Committee, the Mid Hudson Progressive Alliance, and the Friends of the Howland Library. My wife, who is a public librarian in Poughkeepsie, and I decided to make Beacon our home shortly after a visit in late 2005. My hobbies include: reading, cooking, music, and following politics. I am also currently working on a research project on punk, hip-hop, and protest folk music.

I think we actually met at an ESS meeting a few years ago, in Boston. I am doing a Ph.D. in Sociology at The New School and am also working on research on music and live here in Beacon...we should meet up sometime.
