Ben, those are very cool birds :-) Truly looks like woody woodpecker ! They are quite shy, you don't see them that often, but they have an incredibly loud call. Saw one once in my backyard, and then over in the trees by the stairs up Mt. Beacon, but…
Are you seeing the skunks in daylight ? If so, there is a possibility it's showing signs of rabies. They are nocturnal animals - can certainly see them in early morning or dusk, but if it's pure daylight, definitely steer clear.

- Either or is fine. The first class is always free. It is a killer workout. I don't teach it , but I do take it! Anyways, I'm usually there from 12 (noon) to 4 everyday. BTW love the flower photos, are they yours?
