This group is for the development of the Beacon Dog Park. The park will be located in Memorial Park accross from Talix. Group members are needed to develop a Friends of the Dog Park organization to house funds raised to defray costs, set policy, etc.

At 50 years old my passion in life found me. After 21 years working on Metro North rail road, making $89.000 my last three years. I gave it up for the dogs.
You may have heard this before if you follow the Dog Whisperer.
(Ceasar Millan) I wanted to be a great dog trainer.
My neighbor Pam, from Duso travel saw me working my dogs and she said she knows a professional trainer Susan Z. from Middle hope that she would like to introduce me too.
After her first consultaion with me Susan said, "Leroy I can't teach you anything." From that day on I knew what I wanted to do.
Susan passed away suddenly from a heart attack and I had done anything with dogs for some two years, I was crushed and devistated.
It didn't take long before the dogs were calling me back.
So there I was with my mentor gone.
And here comes Ceasar MIllan. Just hearing him put so many things in perspective. I have so much to learn and at this point and dogs are my only teacher.
PS. I am looking for property to opening up AFD's Doggie Day Care.
