I Agree! I have jars of above as well. Also, I use "pickle," which is a weak acid solution for cleaning precious/non-ferrous metals. I neutralize it, but what to do with the leftover? Usually not a problem, because it lasts so long and can be reused…

Texas Tacos! on 52

A new yummy taco place opened a week ago near where 52 meets 84. Tacos, burritos and ice cream too (maybe you remember it as the old ice cream place). We tried the steak tacos and they were delicious. Really nice people, too.

The New Direction Signs

Who ever designed and placed the new directional signs deserves a metal, a gold star and a good day. Don't you think they are perfect, much better than the original signs? At first glance, I didn't like the brown but after a couple viewings think that is a good color. The Main Street ones, esp are so clear and easy to read.

Love 'em.

i have taken my own...both digitally and slides...i used tungsten slide film and lights, but i do not have my lights here...and i could never get them to look as good and professional as they should...i am looking at digitally..i need to make a disc to send to grad schools...i also want to make prints at some point of a series of paintings...i want to get the colors as right as possible, though...i guess they would have to be the specifications that the printers require...as far as print size...i want giclee prints, and the paintings are 16x24 and 32x24...maybe a little smaller, but not much at all
