Raw Milk fresh from the Farm
Growing up on a dairy farm in Ohio, my husband and I are trying to locate a supplier of whole milk/cream outlet in Beacon. We want to buy raw cream for churning for our personal use and we are willing to travel to an outlying farm if it is off-season from the Farmers Market. Specifically from Brown Swiss, Jersey or Guernsey cows.
Does anyone know where we may possibly obtain some now. We realize that milk purchased retail by law has to be pasturized, we are looking to buy straight from the farm that sells out of his milk house/parlor. And willing to bulk (15 to 20 gallon at a time).

We're part of a co-op buying club that gets raw dairy and other Traditional Foods delivered from an Amish farm in Penn. (I've been to the farm) -- and grass-fed meats and biodynamic apples and other stuff from other farms. You order directly from the farm(s). The raw dairy comes every other week.

Oh, the Amish farm has Jersey and Holsteins. They sell all kinds of raw dairy (milk, cream but also butter, cheese, etc.)
And there's another farm or two in our club that sells raw milk and yogurt (Jerseys and/or heritage breeds, I think).

There is a place in Washingtonville: Udderly Fresh Farm, James Kleister, cbkkleisterlaw@frontiernet.net . 183 East Main Street, Washingtonville, NY 10992. valid New York State Raw Milk Permit. Liquid raw milk available every day from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm in any quantity. Not sure what kind of cows the milk is from they seemed to have a couple of different kinds.845.728.6235
You can pick up direct from them and they are about 25 minutes from Beacon.

I HAVE TRY-ED TO CALL AND ALSO E MAIL HIM WITH NO LUCK I NEED TO KNOW THE COST PER GAL AND IF I NEED TO BRING MY OWN CONTAINERS FOR 5-10 GAL
